CTCBS2003Carson attended Brooklyn Technical High School where his big picture visions and sprawling events began. He proposed the use of the then city's third largest auditorium for a two week long Battle of the Bands event. He was granted free use of the auditorium and  marketed and promoted the event to attract several hundred attendees.

His diploma in electrical engineering and electronics although later graduated his colleges with degrees in Psychology, Anthropology, and Corporate Law. Even in college (Stony Brook University) Carson was passionate about events. He has a visionary understanding of how to create bigger than life events and festivals that attract large audiences or build loyal communities while making it happen.

His is involved in colossal sized mega-events, concerts, and multi-presenter multi-day day closed door and public conferences, retreats and special events. Concert and speakers events he has worked with include: Loreena McKennitt, Santana, U2, Allman Brothers, Anthony Hamilton, Pretenders, James Taylor, Southside Johnny, Tubes, Dizzy Gillespie, Peter Gabriel, King Crimson, Jimmy Cliff, Third World, Cindy Lauper, Al DiMeola, Lene Lovich, The Go Go's, John Prine; Gene Roddenberry, Richard Lui, Rodney Dangerfield, John Waters, Abby Hoffman, G. Fall Fest 1 - 24,000 guests in one day

Having amassed extensive concert and event production experience, Carson developed and produced an outdoor festival incorporating Grucci Fireworks, two massive entertainment stages, full-sized carnival rides and midway, an antique auto show, movies under the stars, and square dancing under the big top. It attracted 24,000 visitors on a single day for a three day event. He has also produced an event attracting 150,000 visitors.

An event he developed and produced started with an organization approaching the Council of Cinematic Arts asking them to host a film series. Carson was thereafter asked if he had any ideas (as he was in the office at the time) how both organizations help what was the Science Fiction Forum. Without missing a step he asked a few questions questions with a clear mission in mind. He asked about the organization's mission, and how well received conventions of Science Fiction, Fact and Fantasy does nationwide.

This was the chevron of his thinking that led to his co-creation of I-CON, a landmark Convention of Science Fiction, Fact, and Fantasy (it began even before ComicCom's(c) claimed a mega presence in the mainstream). The convention has run for over 30 years, is now globally renown, sells out hotels for a 15-mile radius, and is the largest one of its kind on the East Coast. Most importantly it builds a community, is culture inclusive, and provides a space for freedom of expression and honored values for what one thinks of themselves and who they are without feeling alone and as an isolated target for bullying.

ICON 1 - A Convention of SF, Fantasy and FactMuch of the success of Carson's events involved complex moving parts and a who's who of clients/stakeholders. Working with committees and a neverending list of departments at corporations has been right up his alley as he has become known as a "connector" and great communnicator. It can be best said it is Carson's command of project management skills, making a connection with people, seeing the big picture, understand and plying strategy, advancing culture driven events while keeping an eye on the bouncing ball that has led to a long list of event success.

Carson attended post graduate studies at Adelphi University in Garden City, NY. It came a few years after graduating with a BA in Psychology and Option in Anthropology from StonyBrook University. At Adelphi, he successfully graduated with a certificate in Corporate Law and Research while also being awarded "Best Presentation for C-Corp Incorporation" with his partner. It was based on a StarTrek(c) premise - accomplished through the use of humor, connecting relevancy, and edutainment in the presentation. His specialization was with legal agreements, drafting and reviewing contracts, leases, filings, compliance for regulatory requirements, corporate best business practices and compliance, risk management, negotiations, and research.

Managing events from meetings, conferences, retreats, tradshows, expos, and more for top executives, non-profits, and consumers was a springboard for Carson to maximizing results on closed door events. MICE.

Carson received a certificate for graduating from Dale Carnegie's Sale Advantage Program (a six week full time program). He also successfully completed an extensive six-month docent training at the American Museum of Natural History, freelanced at Radio City Music Hall and for an environmental field education non-profit conducting field workshops and instruction to both educators and their students throughout the five boros of NYC.

Web design - Carson developed multiple websites based on Joomla, Wordpress, and Drupal CMS platforms that have ranked #1 on Google with organic search results populating in six instances on the first page - all unpaid. He has ideated and created event marketing for SaaS campaign titled the ABC's of ASP's. Involved personal empowerment he built several communities with thousands of followers on his workshops, retreats, and events based on human potential, natural holistic health, mindfulness, metaphysics, entrepreneurship, and outdoor adventure.

In 2018 Carson received three certifications from the City of New York and the State of New York: NYC MBE Certification, NYS MBE Certification, and MBE Certification from The Port Authority of NY and NJ. These certifications took approximately five months to apply for and are awarded. Since then he has received multiple contracts from the Mayor's Office of the City of New York.
