A sound bite about me...
My current place on Earth is Brooklyn in Park Slope, although my event work takes me far and wide from Tibuktu to Katmandu (actually, most of my work is throughout the American landscape where I've toured and produced events in over 40 states thus far). I've also lived in Forest Hills and Princeton.
Wildlife, meaning animals and domestic pets (including parrots, a ferret, newts, turtles, ducks, chicks, a dog, and now lots of African Cichlids and few catfish) are part of my roommates over the many years I've outlived them.
My interests is helping others, volunteering, outdoor adventure including hiking in the mountains, playing softball, skiing, snowshoeing (when there is snow), travel, watching and connecting with wildlife, enjoying nature, learning about different cultures, learning more about the digital frontier and leading-edge technology, understanding human psychology and the mechanisms behind human capacity, motivation, behavior, and beliefs.
I was awarded MWBE certifications status with the City of New York (as well as EBE), the State of New York;
Alumni and on the Leadership Team with the international 13,000 member Goldman Sachs 10KSB program; and
Member of the New York State Tourism Association.
Enjoying an intense amount of time involved in planning, developing and producing all sorts of events, festivals, adventure travel (SMERFS), conventions, meetings, and retreats (MICE) ideating and producing them from soup to nuts life is still on track. Most people work for a paycheck whereas I do what I love and am passionate about and the monetary rewards follow! It is rare that I am not involved in an event, contemplating or conjuring another event or program. 2,400+ events serving up to 150,000 in a single event.
What I am excited about is I can bring life and light into the lives of others and can introduce them to the magic that perhaps they've been missing or want more of. I communicate through the events I am involved (as metaphors or experiences) while leveraging the touchpoints through social and digital integration.
You can never be too old to rock and roll, and never too young to be wiser and in tune. Embracing those 'ah-ha' moments, inspired by music and new outdoor frontiers is just part of the tapestry I am involved in while weaving major breakthroughs to a much better space for those I support and my destiny.
