With a degree in Psychology, a post-graduate certificate in Corporate Law, and an innovative solution based talent, Carson recognized events as a strategic springboard that would generate business outcomes. This ultimately led to his involvement in Experiential Events and Strategic Marketing.

 It has always been an interest of Carson's to understand people and what influenced their behavior; he also graduated with a minor in Anthropology.  Throughout his evolution, in the field of marketing, he has been involved with experiential, event marketing, sponsorships, traditional marketing, college marketing,  mall marketing, lifestyle marketing, guerilla marketing, signage (electronic), SEO, and social media marketing.

When it comes to events Carson looks at the bigger picture so he can craft long-term outcomes and sustainable results rather than force short turn limited results with one-off outcomes. It is one of the reasons there is such a high recall and favorable opinion by guests of the events he has developed and produced.

Even though Carson is involved in event marketing activities he honors the sanctity of privacy and respects the reasonable expectations of his customers.  To this point, he never knowingly releases private information of his fans and followers to any third party for marketing purposes. He also works with steadfast principles in that he does not market nor promote tobacco and alcohol products directly. Some of his clients are part of a bigger flagship which has brands that promote and sell these products, but the departments Carson is involved in are not involved with marketing nor selling these products.
